Highland
The Highland Disc Golf Course is located on the westside of the Highland Community College campus across the street from the YMCA Sports Center. The course was first installed in 2011 as a nine hole course. In 2012, the course was expanded to a full 18 hole layout. Highland has a mix of holes from short, but very tricky, to long wide open bomber holes. This course is about 1,000 feet longer than the course at Krape Park, so be sure to bring your distance discs when attacking this course.
In 2022, Highland received a long-requested upgrade to the course when a number of volunteers put in cement teepads on all 18 holes which greatly improved the quality of the course. The Highland course does not have the amenities that Krape Park has, such as bathroom access or trash can access; however, the course is mostly out of the way of the college campus, so there are only a few holes where a player has to worry about watching for cars and people. The majority of the holes offer wide-open throwing lanes.
